Welcome to Guangzhou Trader (gztrader)! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and any related features (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform. We’re excited to have you here and want to ensure a smooth and fair experience for everyone!

1. Acceptance of Terms

When you browse, shop, sell, or otherwise interact with gztrader, you’re agreeing to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other policies linked on the Platform (like our Return Policy). These Terms apply whether you’re a casual visitor, a registered buyer, or a seller. We may update these Terms from time to time, and the latest version will always be posted here with the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into agreements.
  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering or making transactions.

If you’re using the Platform on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm you’re authorized to act for them. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who doesn’t meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features (like buying, selling, or tracking orders), you’ll need to create an account. Here’s what we ask:

  • Use a valid email address and create a secure password.
  • Keep your account details accurate and up to date.
  • Don’t share your login credentials with anyone—your account is your responsibility!

If we suspect your account is being misused (e.g., for fraud or unauthorized access), we may suspend or terminate it to protect the Platform and other users.

4. Using the Platform

4.1 As a Buyer

You can browse, search, and purchase products from gztrader or our third-party sellers. When you place an order:

  • You agree to pay the listed price, plus any applicable taxes or shipping fees.
  • You’re responsible for providing a correct shipping address.
  • Check product descriptions carefully—details like size, color, or features are your responsibility to confirm before buying.

4.2 As a Seller

If you sell through gztrader, you agree to:

  • List products accurately, including condition, price, and availability.
  • Ship items promptly and provide tracking where possible.
  • Follow our Seller Guidelines (available on the Platform) and any applicable laws.
  • Handle returns or refunds as outlined in our Return Policy or your own stated terms (if stricter).

4.3 Prohibited Activities

To keep gztrader fair and safe, please don’t:

  • Post false, misleading, or offensive content.
  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes (e.g., selling counterfeit goods).
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the Platform.
  • Harass or impersonate other users.
  • Violate intellectual property rights (e.g., using someone else’s images or brand without permission).

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through trusted third-party providers. By paying:

  • You authorize us (and our payment partners) to charge your chosen method.
  • You’re responsible for any fees your bank or provider might add.
  • Refunds, if applicable, follow our Return Policy.

For sellers, payouts are subject to our payment schedule and may include fees outlined in the Seller Agreement.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform—its design, logos, text, and features—is owned by Guangzhou Trader or our licensors. You’re welcome to use it as intended, but you can’t copy, modify, or distribute it without our written permission.

User content (like product listings or reviews) remains yours, but by posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store it on the Platform as needed to operate and promote our services.

7. Third-Party Content & Links

gztrader may feature products, services, or links from third parties (e.g., sellers or advertisers). We’re not responsible for their accuracy, quality, or actions. Your dealings with them are at your own risk, so please review their terms too!

8. Limitation of Liability

We strive to keep the Platform running smoothly, but:

  • It’s provided “as is,” without warranties (express or implied) beyond what the law requires.
  • We’re not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profits) or issues beyond our control (e.g., internet outages).
  • Our total liability won’t exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (or $100, if you haven’t paid).

9. Termination

You can stop using gztrader anytime. We can also suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • We suspect fraud or abuse.
  • We need to for legal or operational reasons.

If your account is closed, these Terms still apply to past actions.

10. Disputes & Governing Law

We hope it never comes to this, but if there’s a dispute:

  • Contact us first at [email protected]—we’ll try to resolve it within 30 days.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
  • Any legal action will take place in the courts of Guangzhou, China, unless local laws say otherwise.

11. Miscellaneous

  • These Terms are the full agreement between you and gztrader (no side deals apply).
  • If any part is invalid, the rest still stands.
  • Notices can be sent via email or posted on the Platform.
