BENEFITS & FEATURES
Men Thigh High Closed Toe Compression Socks Beige

About This Item

RX compression socks, with a pressure range of 40-50 mmHg, provide extremely strong compression and are designed for individuals requiring intensive therapeutic support for severe circulatory issues or specific medical conditions.

These socks exert a pressure gradient of 40-50 mmHg, effectively enhancing blood circulation by aiding veins in returning blood to the heart. They are particularly beneficial for managing severe edema, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), and preventing deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in high-risk individuals, including those recovering from surgery or experiencing prolonged immobility.

It’s essential to use them under the guidance and recommendation of a medical professional to ensure proper usage and effectiveness in managing these serious vascular conditions.

Durable elastic fabric

Made with a blend of 70% nylon and 30% spandex fabric, these ensure comfort while providing excellent elasticity and durability.

Nylon offers superior abrasion resistance and tensile strength, while spandex enhances fit and support, aiding in promoting blood circulation, reducing leg fatigue, and swelling.

Closed Toe

The closed toe design ensures comprehensive support from the foot to the thigh, promotes blood circulation, and reduces swelling throughout the entire leg. This design is particularly suitable for individuals with issues like varicose veins or edema, as it provides even pressure to help alleviate discomfort and fatigue.

The closed toe design securely encases the toes, preventing them from slipping or bunching inside the sock, thereby further enhancing comfort.

NON-SLIP SILICONE BAND PREVENTS ROLLING OR SLIDING

Featuring specially designed silicone anti-slip granules at the top, ensuring the compression socks stay securely in place, keeping you comfortable and confident all day long.

Say goodbye to worries about slipping or sliding socks, as this innovative feature provides reliable traction, allowing you to move freely.

6. Poor circulation from sitting for long periods

7. Post-surgical and post-sclerotherapy treatment

The benefits of Compression Therapy are plentiful and the reasons vary from person to person why you may choose to wear compression socks or stockings. Some of the most prevalent symptoms or conditions that benefit from compression therapy are:

▸ Pregnancy related swelling and vein problems

▸ Varicose or spider veins

▸ Lymphedema or edema

▸ Swelling, pain or blood clots in the lower legs, also known as DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis)

▸ Poor circulation from sitting for long periods

▸ Post-surgical and post-sclerotherapy treatment

It can even be used as a preventive measure to maintain healthy legs for someone who spends extensive amounts of time on their feet. Quite simply, when we stand still for long periods, the forces of gravity increase the pressure within the veins of the legs where the greater effects happen at the ankle and decreases gradually up the leg and body.

This pressure depends on the vertical distance of the column of blood from the heart to the foot. That’s why gradient compression stockings are designed with the pressure greatest at the ankle and diminishing as it moves up the leg in order to counter the effects of the higher venous pressures.

Compression therapy products are put on in the morning upon arising, which is typically before any significant swelling would occur, and then removed at night. Throughout the day the compression prevents blood from pooling in leg veins, which in turn helps your overall circulation and lessens or eliminates any leg swelling you may have.

When shopping for compression socks or stockings, it is best to measure earlier in the day before swelling builds in the legs. Measurements taken later in the day after swelling occurs may cause you to choose an item that is too large and then not effective.

There are many types of compression socks and stockings available without a prescription and they do offer wide-ranging benefits. Before wearing a compression therapy of 20 mmHg (Firm Compression) and above, it is generally recommended to consult your health care provider to find out if graduated compression stockings are right for you. If the answer is yes, they can tell you what pressure grade you should buy for maximum benefit and relief.

These stockings are very supportive and made of quality material. I own several pair of Jobst stockings and would say in quality they are a close comparison (at least initially - time will tell if they hold up). I ordered according to the size chart (which put me in the exact same size as I order in Jobst) and I would say these stockings are a bit wider and a bit shorter than Jobst - but still fit well.

These compression hose are great! I used to buy compression hose from a local medical supply store and they were 4x the price of these. I have severe venous pooling due to POTS as well as severe venous insufficiency in both my legs and pelvic congestion syndrome. The thigh highs actually stay up after continued use, I’ve had one pair for more than 3 years now that still stay up! Great value for the price, no rips, runs or tears and I have longer nails. Closed toe and thigh high is definitely the way to go, I’m impressed!

I recently have been diagnosed with a DVT. My doctor prescribed me special compression socks, the place I was supposed to go for measurement and to get my stockings is closed because of the pandemic. I made some research and came across Varcoh Compression stocking, followed the instructions for measurements and once I got them they fit perfectly.
